AUSTIN VINTAGE WEDDING CAR
Vintage wedding car hire: Our Austin Princess Vanden Plas long wheelbase limousines look remarkably similar to several Rolls Royce and Bentley models from the same era. Available for weddings in Manchester, Stockport, Blackpool, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Lancashire.
Bridesmaids pose with car
Vintage limousine wedding cars don’t come any better than this. Like our Beauford, the Princess is very photogenic and will add some extra prestige and heritage to your wedding day. The car could be hired for the bride and groom or for the bridesmaids.
Hand crafted luxury interior
We pride ourselves on the presentation of our vehicles; your car will be valeted and polished before the booking while decorative flowers and ribbons are also included. All cars are smoke-free, highly cherished and thoroughly maintained.
A relaxing way to travel
Passenger comfort is assured with bench style seating in the rear of the vehicle. The large window line allows for photos of the couple to be easily taken as they arrive at or leave a venue.
Hamper, Champagne and glasses
Chilled bubbly is included in our wedding bookings and stored neatly in the boot, ready for the happy couple to toast the occasion. We have provided wedding cars for hundreds of brides and grooms in Manchester in Lancashire over the last two decades and our team of experienced chauffeurs are always smartly dressed.
Awaiting the bride and groom
As can be seen in this photo our ‘Vanden Plas’ badged Princesses reflect some of the best coachwork of its time. Other period features include chrome bumpers and headlamps, a bonnet mascot and polished wood door fittings and window frames.
Two styles of vehicle for hire
As one of the most comprehensive suppliers of wedding cars in The North West. Big Slo Limos Ltd offer a superb range of modern and classic vehicles. With great rates on multi-car bookings, many customers have hired the Beauford convertible for the bride and groom while the bridesmaids or bride’s parents can enjoy travelling in the Austin Princess.
Rolls Royce style wedding car
The Princess entered production in 1947 and was Austin’s first post-War model for the luxury market. Mostly chauffeur driven, they were popular with wealthy car owners in the 1950s and 60s.
Fold down front seating
The interior has been carefully restored at our own workshops in Lancashire. The white leather upholstery is the perfect match for the exterior colour scheme. The two additional seats can easily be folded down if required, adding more footspace if only two passengers are travelling.
